Donna L. Peterson, PhD

Donna Peterson is dean emerita of Trinity College, and from 1997 to 1999 she was the coordinator to the institutional self-study.

Prior to coming to Trinity, she held a number of teaching positions, including instructor at Wheaton College and French teacher at elementary, junior high, and high school levels in the Wheaton, Elmhurst, and New Trier districts. In 1977 she became the first woman on the board of directors at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and in 1985 she became assistant to the president of the college. She served as dean of the college from 1987 to 1997.

Dr. Peterson earned the Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; the Master of Arts in French at University of Illinois; and the Bachelor of Arts in French/secondary education at Wheaton College.

Dr. Peterson's areas of expertise include French, secondary education, teaching, and leadership.
