Samir B. Massouh, MDiv Samir Massouh is associate professor of biblical studies and chair of the Biblical Studies Department at Trinity International University's Trinity College.
He came to Trinity in 1988 after serving as full-time pastor at Elmbrook Church and teaching at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School for six years. In addition to his ministry experience, he helped start an Arabic-speaking church in the city of Chicago and was also a part of the team which translated the New Arabic Bible. Professor Massouh received the Bachelor of Arts in philosophy at California State University, and the Master of Arts in Old Testament as well as the Master of Divinity in Old Testament, both from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Professor Massouh's areas of expertise include Old Testament, Arabic language, and history of the cinema. He made the Chicago Tribune "All-Professor Team II" in 1994, which is a listing of the most outstanding professors in the Chicago area. |
