Before coming to Trinity, Professor Lindholm taught high school English and theater. Professor Lindholm has also taught speech and composition at the University of Illinois.
Professor Lindholm earned the master of arts in counseling psychology at Trinity International University. She graduated summa cum laude. Lindholm received the master of arts in speech communication and the bachelor of arts in the teaching of English at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and graduated summa cum laude.
Professor Lindholm's areas of expertise include public speaking, writing, communication, drama, and psychology. In 1990, she was named Outstanding New Teaching Assistant in the speech communication department of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and she was also named the 1997-1998 Teacher of the Year for Trinity College.
Professor Lindholm has published various articles in Wellspring and Direction magazines. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English and the National Communication Association.
Professor Lindholm resides in Vernon HIlls, Illinois, with her husband and son. In her spare time, she enjoys music and drama.
