Frequently Asked Questions
General
Is Orientation mandatory?
Yes. All new and transfer, residential, and commuter students are expected to attend. Engagement at Orientation will give you a strong, necessary framework for a significant and formational experience at Trinity. It provides very helpful support for you academically, spiritually, socially, and logistically.
Where do I go when I first arrive on campus?
Go directly to your residence hall. You will get your key and be able to move in right away. Please refer to the campus map (http://www.tiu.edu/tiu/about/campusmap), but there will also be signs and staff members on campus to help you find your hall. If you arrive during or right before your scheduled (by last name) check-in time, please proceed to the All-Access Check-In first.
When am I able to move in to my residence hall?
Between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early move-in requests.
