Credential File Service
As of fall 2008, education credential files are self-maintained by students and alumni which allows teaching candidates to download their information as they complete the school district's on-line application. We suggest the following information be on-hand in both hard and computer copies at all times during the application process: 3 - 5 reference letters, student teaching evaluations, an educational summary, and an unofficial transcript. For those who graduated in 2007 or before, five copies of their credential file can be sent from our office at no charge. Each additional mailing costs $5.00 and must be pre-paid at the time the request is made. All requests to have files sent out must be in writing. Email careers@tiu.edu to request a mailing. (Please note: Credential files are destroyed after 10 years. Every effort is made to contact alums who might want their original credential files. Please keep your TrinityTown profile up to date so that we will be able to contact you.)
