London Tour Prayer Itinerary

Saturday-Sunday (05.16-17)

Gospel choir is leaving for London, England and will arrive on Sunday morning.

Pray for safe arrival to London and for the students as they meet their host families for the first time.  Pray that our hearts are prepared to embrace what the Lord will do on our trip.

Monday (05.18)

Today is the beginning of the choir’s tour. We will be ministering at schools and giving a night concert.

Pray for strength and energy as we adjust to jetlag. Pray for our time at Farnborough Primary School and Newstead Wood Girls School that our songs and presence would encourage the children and teachers. Tonight the choir will be in concert at the Hextable Theatre. Pray that the audience would be encouraged by the lyrics in the songs. The donations of the concert will be going to Demelza House (hospice home for children with volunteer workers), pray that the funds that we raise would help provide for the children.

Tuesday (05.19)

The choir will have the morning to relax at the Bluewater Shopping Center.  Later this evening, the choir will be in concert.

Pray for safety as we travel to Bluewater and that the students enjoy the time off.  Pray for the worship service at St. Giles Church that people would feel the encouragement Christ is speaking to them through the songs that we are singing.

Wednesday (05.20)

Today the choir will visit another school and learn of some of the vast history of London.

Pray for the choir as they sing at St. Philomenas. Pray that we are able to present well the gospel of Christ to the children at the school. Pray also that the Word of the Lord will touch the children. Pray for safety at the museum and that we enjoy this cultural experience.

Thursday (05.21)

The choir will be singing at two schools today with the opportunity to interact with the students.

Pray for the choir as we sing at Bishop Justus School and that the children will embrace the Word of God and enjoy worship. Pray God’s blessings over our time as we interact with the students. Pray for us as we sing at Tubbenden School. Pray that we may minister the Word of God with purpose and eagerness, and that we are sensitive to the Holy Spirit as God uses us. The choir will have some down time at the end of the night. Pray God’s blessings over conversations within the choir and with the host families.

Friday (05.22)

The choir has the opportunity to travel to Windsor Castle and then we will be in concert later tonight.

Pray that we will have a wonderful and safe day of fellowship with each other and a day of growth as a group.  Pray for our concert at Emmanuel Church in West Wickham. Pray God’s blessings over the lives of people attending the concert, that we may be good examples of Jesus Christ and how he loves His people. Pray that we minister with our full hearts, letting the Holy Spirit use us.

Saturday (05.23)

Today, the choir will enjoy sightseeing in London and have an evening concert.

Pray for our protection on the streets of London. Pray that we bless those we meet by our witness and for people to be ministered to tonight at our evening concert.

Sunday (05.24)

Today, the choir will be leading the Sunday morning service at the Temple Church.

Pray for Dr. Coffee Washington as he delivers the message.  Please pray that our worship is pleasing to the Lord and that we minister deeply to the congregation.

Monday (05.25)

Today, the choir will be taking a guided tour of the historic Lullingston Park.

Pray for every choir member to be open to learning more about the area that our knowledge would increase and our lunch fellowship would be productive. Pray for a blessed evening with our host families.

Tuesday (05.26)

As the choir winds down the trip, they will be taking a break by the seaside.

Please pray for a relaxing time of appreciating the beauty of the ocean, safety throughout the day and good fellowship with our host families.

Wednesday (05.27)

The choir will be returning home today.

As we prepare for our flight, board the plane and head back, please pray that everything is packed and nothing forgotten, that everyone is ready and strengthened for the trip home.  Pray for safety as we fly back and for safe traveling from the airport to Trinity.
