Business Student Internships
Business majors are required to participate in an internship program for academic credit.
Bus 445 Internship is a formal course in the core curriculum. Internships vary in scope and in timeframe, so the course varies from 3 to 13 credit hours. Written reports are required about the experiences learned.
Students arrange their internships in a variety of ways:

Summer jobs near their homes

Full-time for an entire semester of the school year

Part-time in the Chicago metropolitan area during the school year

Some students seek nonpaying positions to gain an experience they desire.
Many students arrange their own internships though personal contacts. Faculty advisors assist in arranging internships when necessary. Students in most internship positions are paid as regular employees.
