Areopagus Symposium

Two Perspectives on Religion and Politics in the Twenty-First Century

A.T. Olson Chapel: 1 April 2008, 7:00 p.m.

Free and open to the public

Trinity Graduate School and the School of Biblical and Religious Studies at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois will sponsor the first annual Areopagus Symposium on Tuesday, 1 April at 7:00 p.m. CST in the AT Olson Chapel. The Areopagus Symposium is an annual spring gathering of religious leaders/practitioners with the purpose of engaging in inter-religious dialogue. In this year of presidential politics, our first symposium will appropriately address the issue of religion and politics. Our two guests represent an evangelical perspective (Dr. Tom Atchison, Fox Valley Church) and a Mormon perspective (Bishop Dale Prows, Buffalo Grove Ward 1) of faith in relation to political views. Dr. Michael Reynolds, pastor of New Life Celebration Church, will respond. Dr. Michael Cooper will be moderating. For more information, click Areopagus Symposium.
