School of Biblical and Religious Studies Welcome! The School of Biblical and Religious Studies offers biblical studies courses and Christian ministry courses for students seeking a broad biblical foundation and professional preparation for ministry. Our mission is to equip students to engage their local and global contexts with a Christian worldview through biblical and ministry education that is historically connected and culturally relevant. We have two departments in our school. The Biblical Studies Department helps students grasp the message of the Bible and interpret it accurately as the student develops a Christian worldview by integrating faith and learning. The Christian Ministries Department helps students prepare for ministry both theologically and theoretically in order to engage contemporary culture with the message of Christ. Along with the Biblical Studies and Christian Ministries majors, we offer four academic minors. Whether you are planning for vocational or lay ministry or simply desire to learn more about the Old and New Testament, our minors in Biblical Studies, Intercultural Studies, Christian Ministries or our new minor in Religious Studies will add to your overall college experience. We have a remarkable faculty with vast academic and ministry experience that makes them leaders in their disciplines. We hope you will come dream with us! Michael T. Cooper, PhD Director, School of Biblical and Religious Studies
