Visiting Student

A student not pursuing a degree program but desiring to be admitted for part-time studies (a maximum of six credit hours of credit per semester or one course during May Term). A student wishing to apply as a Visiting Student must complete the Visiting Student Application, provide proof of High School graduation, and sign our Statement of Community Expectations. A visiting student must apply, be accepted, and spend at least thirty (30) of their last forty-five (45) hours as a regular student at Trinity in order to graduate.

Auditing Student

An auditing student is defined as a student permitted to enroll in a course without being required to fulfill the normal requirements in that course when it is taken for credit. No credit is granted. Audited coursed will be recorded on the official transcript. Abbreviated admissions credentials are required of those students who are only auditing classes.

High School Senior Options Program

Local area high school students can now take classes at Trinity for college credit! Students who have completed their junior year of high school in the upper twenty-five percent of their class (or a grade average of "B" or above) can enroll for college credit in one course in the May term. Any student wishing to apply to this program must (1) submit the High School Senior Options Application, (2) be interviewed by an Admissions Counselor, (3) submit a recommendation from a high school guidance counselor along with official high school transcripts, and (4) must have written permission from a parent or legal guardian.
