It is our pleasure to invite you to an all TIU faculty retreat in February 2013 at the Abbey Resort (theabbeyresort.com) in Lake Geneva, WI. This retreat is free for faculty and their families and will take place from Thursday evening, February 7, 2013 through Saturday noon, February 9, 2013.  It would be great if you can attend the entire retreat but if that is not possible, please come to as much as your schedule will allow.

The retreat's theme is Faith, Work, and Economics. Food and fellowship will be combined with discussions about the intersection of faith and vocation, to include presentations by Scott Rae, Darrell Cosden, and Robert Lupton.  Leisure activities will also be available.  Our keynote speaker, Robert Lupton, has had a profound impact upon Christian thinking on the topic of serving the poor with his best-selling book, Toxic Charity.
