On Monday, February 18th, in Trinity Hall (Rushford Commons) from 4PM- 10PM, we have invited professional stylists and barbers to campus.  They will be providing services at half price for our community. All are welcomed to use their services. This is a great opportunity to learn firsthand from professional hair stylists, a little bit about African American hair and its uniqueness. There is a lot of cultural identity that African Americans align with hair.  Come and partake in great and entertaining conversation.

"What's the problem with two committed, monogamous people vowing to marry?"

"Two gay people getting married doesn't affect you."

"Christians are more passionate against gay marriage than they are passionate for Jesus."

How should Christians respond to these common arguments for gay marriage? Dr. Bob Moeller, marriage counselor, author, and speaker (and TEDS alum) will address these issues and many more on Tuesday, February 19, at 6:30 p.m. in the Lantern Lounge.

On Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Hinkson Hall (Rodine) at 9:30PM, the Multicultural Department will highlight urban styles and “swag,” interspersed with a showcase of talent from poetry and drama to rap and drill with a Chicagoland Step Team.  Come out, dressed to impress and be blown away in high definition!

On Friday, February 22, part of the Mansion parking lot will be blocked off to accommodate guests attending the undergraduate Sneak Preview event. We would like to encourage staff and faculty who typically park in this lot to park in an alternate lot for this day.
