In the seminar series "Hot Topics for Student Health and Wellness" we address topics that matter to you and impact your life here at Trinity. This installment of the series is focused on the topic of healthy sexuality. This event is brought to you by the TIU Counseling Center and is being hosted in the Nyberg Conference Room located in the upper level of the Waybright center.

Karen Schultz, Executive Director of Fox Valley EFC, and Carol Marshall, former Director of Women's Ministry at Village Church of Barrington, will be discussing their path to and journey in ministry. Carol will also share helpful historical perspectives from her thesis on the role of women in church leadership in the EFCA.  Held in the Lee Fireside Room.

Flu shots will be offered at the Waybright Center in the Heritage Room on October 10, 2012, from 11 am-1 pm.  Cost is $15. 

An informal, participatory evening of poetry held at Newport Coffee House featuring the work of Brett Foster (Wheaton College), Tania Runyan (poet, NEA fellow), Daniel Bowman (Taylor University), and Brad Fruhauff (TIU). Bring your own or your favorite poems to read at the open mic in between our featured authors. Pastries provided by Relief: A Christian Literary Expression.
