The Trojans traveled to Lebanon, Illinois to face McKendree College this Saturday for their first MSFA Midwest League game of the year, and fell to the #10 team in the NAIA, 56-0.

From start to finish, the game was dominated by the Bearcats on both sides of the ball. McKendree was able to pile up 428 total yards of offense on the day, while holding Trinity to very short gains or nothing at all most of the day.

The Bearcats led the game 28-0 at halftime, and their stingy defense kept the shutout in tact throughout the entire game. The Trojans were held to just 85 yards of total offense.

Trinity will look to rebound next Saturday when they play their first home game of the year. The Trojans will take on Iowa Wesleyan College at 1:00 PM.
