The Men's Soccer team continued their very impressive season with two more victories this week over University of St. Francis and Robert Morris College.  On Wednesday the Trojans traveled to St. Francis and came away with a hard fought 2-0 victory.  Kyle Bacon and Christian Madalengoitia each scored goals for the Trojans while Lucas Zicher collected another shutout.

Saturday was the big homecoming game for the men's soccer team, and the men did not disappoint.  Behind an inspired crowd and more importantly great teamwork, the Trojans defeated Robert Morris 5-1.  Senior Tim Jeanson scored two goals, Senior Kyle Bacon collected two assists, Sophomore Travis Bacon scored one goal and collected one assist, Mark Willcox had two assists and Mark Robertson scored one goal.

The two wins this week put the Trojans in first place all by themselves.  The Trojans are also third in their region after the successful week.  This Wednesday the Trojans will host Cardinal Stritch, the second place team in the CCAC Conference.  The showdown between the top two teams in the conference is set to start at 4:00 PM.

WOMEN'S Soccer

Overall Record 10-3, 4-2(CCAC)

The Women's Soccer team went on the road for both of their games this week and came through with two conference victories.

On Tuesday the Trojans traveled to St. Francis University and won the contest 5-0.  Katelyn Keckeisen scored two of the five goals for the Trojans.

On Saturday, the Trojans went on the road again and won a huge game against conference front runner and Trojan archrival Robert Morris College, 4-1.  The win improved Trinity's conference record to 4-2 and gave Robert Morris their second loss to make them 5-2.

Trinity's Ruth Kratzer played an amazing game for the Trojans and led the team scoring three out of the four goals in the contest.  Kratzer's great performance couldn't have come at a better time as Robert Morris College was ranked 23rd in the nation coming into the game.

The Trojans will look to build on their very successful week this week when they host Cardinal Stritch on Tuesday at 4:00 PM.  The Trojans will also host Martin Methodist College on Thursday at 4:00 PM and go on the road to play Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
