Overall Record 10-4-2 (7-2) CCAC
After a very successful season, the Trojans had a disappointing week to finish out their regular season conference schedule, losing to Judson College and St. Xavier University.
On Tuesday the Trojans traveled to Judson and came up short, 2-0. The Trojans then took the field Saturday at St. Xavier University and lost 4-2.
The Trojans finished the conference part of their schedule with a 7-2 record and finished second in the CCAC. The Trojans will have a bye for the first round of the CCAC conference tournament. Trinity will learn who they will play in the second round of the tournament later this week.
The Trojans will also travel to Muscatine, IA this Wednesday to take on Grandview College in the Trojans' final regular season game this year.
WOMEN'S Soccer
Overall Record 14-4 (6-3) CCAC
The Trojans have caught the attention of many over the last few weeks, and for their efforts Trinity was ranked #10 in the nation going into this week's games. The ranking is the highest in Trinity's Women's Soccer history.
On Wednesday the Trojans played their final conference game of the year at Judson College and fell 2-1. The game was very well played by the Trojans but fell behind Judson on a Penalty kick and never recovered. Scoring for the Trojans was Junior Nicole Collins.
On Saturday the Trojans began the CCAC playoffs and because of tiebreakers were seeded 5th and had to travel to Judson for the second time in less than a week. The Trojans came through with 3-1 victory and won the more important game of the week. Much like Wednesday's game Trinity played well throughout the entire game and continued another solid week. Scoring for the Trojans was Ashleigh Dellos, Megan Pelland on a corner kick, and Ruth Kratzer.
This Wednesday the Trojans will head to Robert Morris College to play in the CCAC Semi-Finals. The Trojans beat Robert Morris College on October 7th 4-1. This week's game will be played in Bensenville, IL at 4:00 PM.
THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULE
The Women's Soccer team will play at Robert Morris College on Wednesday at 4:00 PM.
The Men's Soccer team will play at Grandview College on Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
